Meet the Team

We have a team of highly-qualified staff working with us. They will always provide as much support as they possibly can, so please do not hesitate to ask!

Manager – Kath
Kath joined the staff team in January 2018. She has 21 years’ experience in Early Years. She is a qualified Early Years teacher with an Early Years degree, she has a Post graduate Certificate in Early Childhood and is she is an Advanced Forest School Leader. Kath is also a mentor for the University of Worcester. She is a Deputy Fire Marshall, Deputy DSL and First Aider. Kath is an experienced mum with four children and one grandson. Nursery Nurse – Debs
Debs has been at the Nursery since it began in 2001 with 20 years’ experience in Early Years. She looks after our pre-schoolers (3-4 year olds) however is flexible within the nursery caring for all our children. She has a Foundation in Community Care, a Diploma in Pre-School practice, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and is a qualified A1 Assessor in Childcare. She is additionally trained in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene. Debs is an experienced mum herself and understands the natural concerns and worries that parents have as they children grow up including support with the transition to big school!

Nursery Nurse – Jackie
Jackie works as our Nursery Nurse in the mornings with our ‘early birds’ who attend breakfast club including some of the Primary School children. She has been with us since 2002 and has over 25 years’ experience. She has a Diploma in Preschool Practice, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education. Jackie loves doing craft activities. She is an experienced mum and grandmother too! She fully understands the natural concerns and worries that all parents experience as they children grow up and is always willing to help.

Nursery Nurse – Mollie
Mollie joined in November 2016 and is qualified with her BTEC National Diploma Level 3 in Children’s Play, Learning and Development. She is trained in Safeguarding, First Aid and Food Hygiene.  She loves being creative with the children including art and crafts, messy play and cooking.
